Alien Crosswalk is an eight channel work using sounds processed in ProTools and with the software package SMS (Spectral Modeling Synthesis). This piece was started in the spring of 1999. The source for the presynthesized sound are guitar and bass guitar samples. Designed to be a low resonance piece, you can almost picture the alien attempting to cross the busy street.
